Dear Valued Customer,
King Ocean will be adjusting the Trucking Adjustment Factor applicable on all door moves in the United States to cover the additional costs associated with increased demand for trucking in the United States.
All inland services (meaning to include all points outside of the Local South Florida Drayage Area) provided by the carrier shall be subject to a charge of $300.00 per container applicable to import and export cargo to or from the United States on all door and rail ramp shipments regardless of the inland mode of transport.
Exception: Local South Florida Inland Services (Local Drayage) Via South Florida Ports shall be subject to a charge of $200.00 per container.
This increase will be effective April 10, 2022 and will apply on all southbound, northbound, dry and refrigerated cargo with origin or destination door United States locations as outlined above.
