As a result of increased costs associated with transiting through the
Panama Canal, King Ocean wishes to advise the trade of the following
new surcharge to be effective April 5, 2020:
Panama Canal Freshwater Surcharge
Per 20’ $50
Per 40’ $100
Dry Equipment, Refrigerated Equipment and Specialized Equipment
This New Surcharge is applicable on Southbound and Northbound
Cargo to and from Ecuador and Peru.
This surcharge will apply on all open tariff and service contract items.
