Tax Recovery Management Fee applicable to and from Costa Rica
Effective Date July 1, 2019
The Costa Rican government has recently announced the implementation of a Costa Rica Transportation tax effective July 1, 2019. King Ocean will be addressing this item with implementation of a Tax Recovery Management Fee in the amounts of $20.00 per container applicable to port moves and $100.00 per container applicable to door moves. The fee will be effective July 1, 2019, and will apply to shipments under open tariff or service contract movements.
