King Ocean wishes to advise all customers that ship to and from Costa Rica of the following increase applicable on the previously established Costa Rica Terminal Handling Charge:
**INCREASE POSTPONED TO MARCH 9, 2019**
Current Effective March 9, 2019
All Containerized Liner Carriers have been mandated by the Costa Rican Government to operate at the Port Moin Terminal, operated by APM Terminals and must vacate their current terminal locations within the area of Puerto Limon no later than February 1, 2019.
The Port Tariff that will be assessed by APM Terminals at Port Moin Terminal to all Containerized Liner Carriers was approved by the Costa Rican Government.
This mandated move, coupled with the Governmentally approved APM Terminals tariff, will result in increased costs associated with handling all cargo moving into and out of Costa Rica.
