King Ocean Services, in partnership with Betty K Agency Limited, is excited to announce the launch of a new service from Port Everglades, FL, to Nassau, Bahamas. The service will offer twice-weekly LO-LO sailings into APD in Nassau for both FCL and LCL shipments.
As part of the new agreement, King Ocean Services will act as Betty K’s U.S. agency and commercial representation. King Ocean will also be responsible for managing Betty K’s South Florida operations, including terminal, warehousing, and trucking.
Betty K, a family-owned business based in the Bahamas, has been providing shipping services from South Florida to Nassau for generations. As part of the agreement, Betty K will continue operating its long-standing Nassau organization, Betty K Agencies Limited, and will continue serving the Bahamas market commercially and logistically.
This partnership will provide Betty K’s customer base with a more reliable ocean product while maintaining the name-brand shipping network and operations that have made Betty K an industry leader in the Bahamas for over a century.
A new and improved sailing schedule with two departures and arrivals into Nassau will be announced in the coming days, and operations will commence shortly after that. A joint announcement with Betty K is forthcoming.
