Central America Detention Per Diem Tri-Axle Charge
Applicable Southbound/Northbound
Tri-Axle Chassis Detention Charge to/from Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, El Salvador, and Costa Rica:
The Merchant shall be allowed the day of interchange at Merchants facility plus one calendar day to load or discharge the container that is affixed to the Tri-Axle chassis thereafter a detention charge of $150.00 per day will be applied for the extended use of the Tri-Axle chassis. This charge is in addition to the applicable container free time and demurrage calculation for the use of the container. Detention per diem will apply when a Tri-Axle Chassis Charge is required to move a container to/from Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, El Salvador, and Costa Rica.
This will apply on all open tariff and service contract items.
