Over 40 years of

Our Cargo Transportation Story

Founded on March 1st, 1982, King Ocean Services has grown from humble beginnings into a leader in the Ocean Transportation Industry with over 40 years of experience. Our journey began with operations in Venezuela in 1986, followed by expansions into Costa Rica in 1990 and Colombia in 2005. By 2012, we had increased our presence across the Caribbean, and in 2016, we had proudly entered the Pacific region, continuing our growth into new territories like Haiti in 2017. Most recently, in 2024, we expanded our services to the Bahamas and Turks & Caicos, strengthened by the acquisition of Seacor Island Lines.

We offer a wide range of shipping solutions, including Full Container Load (FCL), Less than Container Load (LCL), Bulk & Vehicles, Charter Services, personal items, heavy machinery, and project cargo. Supported by weekly fixed-day sailings to Central and South America, the Caribbean, and the United States, our modern fleet accommodates all types of cargo with precision and care.

At King Ocean Services, we go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. Our state-of-the-art consolidation facilities in South Florida and comprehensive documentation and processing services mean that no cargo is too big or too small for us to handle. We take pride in our commitment to our customers, and we believe that by taking care of our employees, we can provide the best service possible.

We are also proud members of the U.S. C-TPAT program and certified by BASC and ISO in most Latin American countries where we operate, ensuring the highest safety and security standards in everything we do.
